I do not speak

In words nor languages nor signs

I'm a cryptid

Learning how the roots communicate

How little bees buzz

Ans how the flowers know

Which season it is

I do not speak

In words nor languages nor signs

Ink becomes the blood that drip

When sharp razors and hot steel

Design my skin

Like the scars from a warriors bowstring

The one that made me the tribal queen

I do not speak

In words nor languages nor signs

But through the hidden strings

of a near-musical note

Utterances of paid actors

with unpaid attention to folklores and legends

I can speak in every tongue

through hands and breeze

through air and fire

But Oh, do not ask me

Do not ask me

To speak in the language of the lips.
