Isle of Romantic Bravery

I romanticise the fall

Maybe I must crash

And run my face across the pavement

I need to hear

What crosses my mind

Before my mind splatters open

To let the little scorpions crawl away

I romanticise the fall

But I'm always stuck thinking

Where must I fall.

Maybe somewhere near the isles

I'd take one last look at this beautiful Earth

The damp soil

The roaring northern sea

And then perhaps take the fall

But maybe--

If I could see the isle

maybe i never have to fall.
